Considering I am a sick duckling tucked in between my Egyptian cotton sheets and pink Ikea duvet (which by the way, matches the color of my nail polish), I thought this would be a great time to start talking about the one, the only, the brilliant Zac Posen..
On Fashions Night Out, which was a worldwide event hosted by Vogue on September 10, 2009 in celebration of fashion, I was waiting in the long line outside of Bergdorf Goodman hoping to catch a glimpse of former child stars/fashion icons Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe. All of a sudden, I see a man pop out of the sunroof of a stopping Escalade and a multitude of flashing lights directed towards him. When I realized who it was, I almost hyperventilated. It was my idol, fashion designer Zac Posen. He proceeded to jump out of the car and strategically give a speech in front of a window display of his dresses, thanking everyone for supporting him and telling everyone to have a jolly ol' time for the rest of the night. In my state of complete ecstasy, I managed to take a few pictures of him that I will cherish forever. Here are a few:

Notice his amazingly painted hands. What an artiste!
I'll be back with a few comments on his Spring 2010 collection in a bit but for now I will leave you to marvel at his beauty.
Ringing out,
Donia
