Back To Basics

Back in Egypt.
Currently sitting in my profoundly comfy PJs waitin up for my parents to come back from yet another fancy dinner (wait a second, arent they supposed to be in my position?)
So much cultural inspiration here. Even though this is where I'm from it always seems to find a way to surprise me.
No crazy high heels and fashion statements here. Playing it safe is HARD ya'll (i cant believe i just typed ya'll.. you can tell I have southern friends at school)

I got some gorgeous jewelry while here. A silver ring with my name carved out. It is my new index finger ring. Another really pretty pearl charm bracelet with ethnic good luck charms and a RANDOM dollar sign charm. One of the charms says: Follow Your Dreams and it is, coincidentally, the heaviest one.

Off to a cruise tomorrow or the day after. Pictures of adventures to come.

For now I'm quite content with relaxing and enjoying my time away from Columbia.
