I just realized today that I haven't posted on here for two weeks. Oh dear. These past few weeks have been HECTIC! mditerms, panic attacks, divaliciousness, you name it I had it.
WELL, thursday I'm off to California (wooooh!!) so of course I have to do some shopping before I travel (because my two full closets of clothing can always be expanded). Hopefully, I'll get some great posts in while I'm there! I'm thinking I might stop by TopShop tomorrow to shop!

I had a very witty night with my dear dear friend Michael tonight. After we had some nice foreign food (BALAWA Michael!) and talked about some pressing issues, he took me back to his blissful abode to show me the shoes that he spent an unmentionable amount of money on. Thankfully, they were all beautiful but there were two of them that were to DIE for! Again, I apologize for the quality of the pictures from my blackberry but you should click on it to make it bigger and appreciate the amazingness!
Hugo Boss: They are a lot shinier and a lot fresher in real life.
Marc Jacobs: Ringing out, Donia
PS. I hope you all enjoy the new little description underneath the title of my blog.
Sitting through another seemingly endless class of Human Rights (don't get me wrong, I really do enjoy the course), I peek down at the feet of my friend Catherine and discover these little beauties: (i recommend clicking on the photo to get a more detailed view) They are suede vintage Chanel flats that have been through everything from combating the stain of pasta sauce to flirting with dirt on the streets of Brooklyn. Part of the reason I like them so much is because the dirt on them makes them so much more real. After class, we watched as a hilariously cute little girl in a bright yellow rain coat screamed in joy as the wind blew water from the fountain on Low Steps right at her. I requested a picture of these gems especially to share with you lovely people.
Jimmy Choo is coming out with a line for H&M to be released on November 14th in over 200 stores in the US. Just in time for the holidays! So if your fiending for a less expensive version of the designers amazing accessories, head over to your local H&M and shop away (or make it clear to those you love that it is of interest to you for the festive holiday!)
Today is Michelle and Barack Obama's wedding anniversary. Let us marvel at the perfection that is the first family. Such class, such style. Look at this beautiful montage.
Dedicated followers (and others) I would like to apologize for my extended absence. I have been labouring away at hours and hours and hours (i calculated that I spent 18 hours in the library this week) of work for school but its over and ITS THE WEEKEND! During my few minutes of break (which were basically during lectures) I have been browsing through pages upon pages of photos from Milan Fashion Week and marveling at the ridiculously amazing creations that strutted the catwalk. I am obsessed with the shoes this season. They are so high and so creative and amazing. LOVE!
Here are a few (which are a lot) of my favorite looks from Milan Fashion Week.
Dolce & Gabanna:
Versace:
Dsquared:
Bottega Veneta
Fendi: The first dress looks like something Rachel Zoe's assistant Taylor would wear. Also, the second one is my FAVORITE!
Ferragamo: Shout out to Elizabeth for picking this next one in the middle of Human Rights. She said that she would "definitely wear this to some high-end cocktail party someday."
Emporio Armani
Pucci:
Gucci
Moschino
Rimondi
SO MANY GREAT LOOKS! I am especially in love with Rimondi's embellishments and Pucci's effortless chic looks. Shoes are killing me. Like right out murdering. I AM IN LOVE WITH EVERY SINGLE PAIR THAT WALKED THE RUNWAY!
Off to catch up on some well deserved rest, perhaps even shoe shopping.
